As we get started with our 2022 Spring CYSL season, on behalf of the thousands of youth soccer players who grew up in CYSL, I would like to say THANK YOU to Ed Foster, for his 19 years of service to our youth soccer community.  Ed’s contribution to this League is immeasurable.  So many of our children had their first experience being part of a team, playing soccer in probably the most well-organized, well-run, and fun volunteer youth program I’ve ever seen, and honestly, this is a result of the high standard of quality and effort given by Ed Foster. 

There is a ton of work that goes on behind the scenes in between games and practices which Ed has largely headed up for so many years.  He has mowed the Park fields with his own lawnmower, brought in topsoil to fill the holes and seed the turf, and has painted miles of sidelines on the fields at dusk.  He coordinated summer camps which dramatically improved the skills of our players.  He has been a mentor to our youth referees, concession stand crew, coaches, and CYSL board members.
